Filter media shall be of a nuclear grade quality, with two disposable canisters, the total capacity of the system being 4,502 grains.  Each canister shall house a pre-filter pad designed to act as a twin sediment and dirt removal barrier as well as maintaining consistent compression on the media by expanding when water is introduced to the cartridge to minimize channeling and make full use of resin.  Each canister shall be 20" long by 4 1/2" diameter.  Inlet and outlet water fittings shall be either 1 1/4" OD plastic tube or 1/4" mpt.  Each system shall include a water quality light that turns red when the canisters of resin need to be replaced.  The total operating weight of the system shall be 65 pounds.  A mounting bracket shall be included in the system to attach it to a wall.
