Humidifirst Ultrasonic humidifiers are designed for energy efficiency, low maintenance, and healthy applications. The one micron droplets are created by use of a piezo-electronic transducer, not by the costly boiling of water. We offer five models, each designed for specific applications. They are:
MIST-FREE
Used in areas where no (or minimal) mist discharge is acceptable. Many Computer rooms, MRI rooms, Print rooms, etc. cannot accept a mist discharge into the space. Mist can cause damage to electronics as well as cause paper to swell.
MIST-PAC
Fan powered units used in large open areas where there are high ceilings and space available for mist evaporation. Typical applications require 6 to 10 feet in front of the humidifier and 6 feet beneath the humidifier for full evaporation. The top of the humidifier should be mounted 18" to 24" below the ceiling.
DT SERIES
Used in Ductwork or Air Handling Units (AHU) when centralized humidification is preferred. This system, due to its larger output capacity, presents an opportunity for substantial energy savings. For proper applications, contact Humidifirst for design assistance.
MPL SERIES
Fan powered units used in small capacity applications where narrow dimensional profile is preferred. The MPL units are all stainless steel with no plastic components
LIEBERT RETROFIT
All stainless steel units designed for replacement of infrared humidifiers in Liebert computer room air conditioners. Typical annual operation cost savings can range from $2,500.00 to $5,000.00 per Liebert unit. Often, local electric rebate programs will pay for first cost of humidifier.
